I am a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation with over 15 years’ experience in conducting a variety of complex regulatory, commercial, corporate and insolvency disputes in Courts and Tribunals throughout Australia.
With my previous experience in tax and commercial matters and a master’s degree in commercial law, I have a deep understanding of the issues and commercial realities facing my clients.
My focus is on delivering practical and commercially sound legal advice, whilst prioritising cost-effective outcomes that are tailored to my client’s individual objectives and needs. I enjoy assisting clients through difficult and stressful situations and resolving disputes as efficiently and commercially as possible.

Notable matters:
- Represented an examinee in a high-profile public examination conducted by special purpose administrators in relation to the CS Energy Callide C power station explosion.
- Represented a former director of a company in section 19 examinations and subsequent ASIC civil penalty and disqualification proceedings in relation to a corporate failure that has garnered significant national media attention.
- Defended oppression proceedings commenced by shareholder in an Australian television production company involved in the production of a program screened domestically on commercial free to air television and cable television.
- Acted for a bankruptcy trustee in relation to the recovery of real property situated overseas, including successfully resolving claims made against the property by the bankrupt's ex-spouse and family members.
- Acted for a defendant sub-contractor in a $20 million claim by a builder relating to defective building work.
- Acted for a prominent real estate agent in successfully resolving a number of multi-million dollar claims which included allegations of fraud.
- Conducted a public examination on behalf of a liquidator of a failed labour hire company.
- Acted in professional negligence claims both against and on behalf of professional advisors, including real estate agents, accountants, financial planners and solicitors.
- Successfully defended an unfair preference claim pursued by a liquidator of a client's former trade supplier.
- Acted for a silent partner in pursuing a claim for the recovery of several million dollars misappropriated from the partnership by the working partner.
- Advised insolvency practitioners in relation to a variety of issues arising in respect of bankruptcies and liquidations.
- Successfully defended or resolved a number of restraint of trade claims.
